Helpful Sites

WORLD RADIO
Those shortwave raido guys you see hanging out at the Arby's know a lot of things you don't, mainly because the audio world is at their fingertips. Now you can join them, thanks to the World Radio Network, which provides access to numerous stations across the globe.

SEARCH ENGINE
You can Google all you want, but you have to admit there's something aesthetically pleasing and almost serene about wisenut.com. The search engine is incredibly straightforward , and the WiseSearch option is intuitive and helpful.

FAST FOOD
If you're trying to stick to your New Year's resolution to lose weight, don't let those fast-food lunches during the workday blow it for you. See how many calories you're putting on with the information available at chowbaby.com.

HTML goodies
I can always tell when there is a new
command that is in vogue. I start getting all kinds of email asking
how to do it. Well, this is the new thing. I don't know why, but everyone
wants to know how to create these little windows that pop up.
All the
Geocities pages have them. Other pages use them as control panels operating the main window. If you decide to go with this kind of pop up window, use it sparingly.
I think they become an annoyance after a while. Sort of like some guy
telling you the same joke every time he meets you. It's fun about three
times. Then you start yelling at the screen. I do at least. It really
scares the cat.
